Alexis Candelario Arrested on Armed Career Criminal Charges
Alleged Mastermind of “La Tómbola” (The Raffle) Massacre in Toa Baja, Puerto RicoSAN JUAN, PR—On Nov. 10, 2009, a
sealed complaint against Alexis Candelario Santana was authorized by U.S.
Magistrate Judge Justo Arenas charging federal firearms violations under
Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and (924)(e). Last night
Candelario Santana was arrested by Customs and Border Patrol agents in
Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The announcement of the arrest was made
today by Rosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez, U.S. Attorney for the District of
Puerto Rico, along with federal and state law enforcement agents.
Federal Grand Jury Indicts 55 Members and Associates of the Pagans Motorcycle ClubThe indictment, returned on Oct.1, 2009, was unsealed today by the court. The indictment alleges that PMC members and associates have engaged in racketeering activities since March 2003. According to the indictment, in March 2003, PMC members, at the direction of Moore, traveled to Huntington, W.V., and restrained and beat a member of another motorcycle gang, the Road Disciples Motorcycle Club (RDMC), in an attempt to extract information from the victim in order to find the RDMC president. Moore ordered the PMC members to find the RDMC president to collect money and to threaten to shut down the RDMC if the president failed to comply with Moore’s orders. The indictment also alleges that in September 2005, Moore and other PMC members and associates conspired with a prison guard to kill an inmate suspected of cooperating with law enforcement. Further, according to the indictment, Moore ordered another PMC member to commit a murder to help out the president of a local chapter of the Avengers Motorcycle Club.55-pagans-indited
Sixty-Five Members of the Angel Ayala Vazquez Drug Trafficking Organization IndictedSAN JUAN, PR—On Sept. 28, 2009, a
federal grand jury in the District of Puerto Rico issued a seven-count
superseding indictment, charging 65 defendants with federal drug
trafficking offenses. This morning, 500 federal and state law enforcement
agents from the Bayamon Strike Force, arrested 37 members of the Angel
Ayala Vazquez (aka “El Negro, Angelo Millones, El Buster, Papa Upa”) drug
trafficking organization, which had been established since 1995 at the
Jose Celso Barbosa and Sierra Linda Public Housing Projects in Bayamon.
This organization is the most powerful drug trafficking organization
operating in Puerto Rico.
Twenty-One Gang Members/Associates Sentenced for Cocaine Trafficking and Laundering Millions in Drug ProceedsHOUSTON—Pedro Gil III, 37, a member of
the Los Hermanos de Pistoleros (HPL) prison and street gang, was among 21
defendants sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sim Lake over the past seven
days, United States Attorney Tim Johnson announced today. Gil pleaded
guilty April 30, 2009, to conspiring to possess with the intent to
distribute more than 150 kilograms of cocaine and to laundering millions
of dollars in drug proceeds together with 23 other HPL members or
associates. Associate Members Of Colombian terrorist group, (FARC), Indited Acting Special Agent-in-Charge of the
Miami Division of the FBI, announced today the unsealing of two
indictments charging a total of 12 members and associates of the 57th
Front of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), a
Colombian terrorist group, with conspiracy to provide material support to
a foreign terrorist organization and taking a U.S. citizen hostage.
“Corona” Augustin Zambrano And 18 Latin Kings Gang Leaders IndictedCHICAGO—October 1, 2009- A Chicago man alleged to be a “Corona” of the Latin Kings, making him the highest-ranking leader outside of prison and responsible for overseeing the illegal activities of all factions of the powerful Chicago street gang, is among 18 defendants charged in a sweeping new federal indictment against the gang’s alleged hierarchy. Augustin Zambrano, the alleged leader
of the Almighty Latin King Nation in the Chicago area and particularly on
the city’s south side, and 14 other alleged leaders of the 26th Street
Region of the Latin Kings were charged with racketeering conspiracy for
allegedly running a criminal enterprise to enrich themselves and others
through drugtrafficking and preserving and protecting their power,
territory and revenue through acts of murder, attempted murder, assault
with a dangerous weapon, extortion, and other acts of violence. All 18
defendants—six newly charged and 12 who were initially indicted a year
ago—were charged in a 48-count superseding indictment returned by a
federal grand jury.

Assault. Morris is alleged to have murdered Richard Pogue on June 2,
2009.

America’s Most Wanted, Anthony Thomas Arrested in Ft. Smith ArkansasTwenty-Six year old Anthony Thomas was arrested today by Sebastian County, Arkansas (Ft. Smith). Thomas was wanted by U.S. Marshals in Lafayette for violating his bond. Thomas was originally arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for Possession of Child Pornography. Sebastian County detectives contacted Thomas because of a police report he filed under the name, “John Campbell.” Detectives in Sebastian County questioned the name “John Campbell” and ended up persuading Thomas to be fingerprinted. Those fingerprints revealed that “John Campbell” was in fact Anthony Thomas who was wanted by U.S. Marshals in Lafayette. Thomas will be extradited back to Lafayette to face his charges.

Code Amber News Service (CANS) issued this Missing Endangered person Alert after the girl disappeared from her bedroom some time after 3 AM Tuesday morning in Satsuma. Satsuma is approximately 75 miles east of Gainsville. Haleigh Cummings a white female, 3 feet tall, weighs 39 pounds and has blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and underwear. There are no suspects in this case at this time. However, due to the circumstances of the child's disappearance an abduction is strongly suspected. There is no suspect vehicle at this time.
