Critter From The I 75 PondAsk any one who knows. Florida is a great place to go fossil hunting. Just about any body of water, pond, river, ocean, contains millions of shells, shark teeth, mastodon teeth, arrow heads and bones of various large critters of antiquity. Antiquity at least according to some folks. If you look carefully at this 1024x769 suitable for wallpaper image, you may notice that the frost is on the pumpkin. That's right, frost on the ground in Florida is rare enough, but look closely to the left of the dock, and please tell me what this critter looks like to you. Now myself, I don't much believe in flying saucers, ghosts, spooks and the like, and I haven't seen Hitler since New Years Eve. But, I believe, that critter sticking up out of the water on that foggy and frosty morning this January 2009 near Interstate 75 east of Punta Gorda, Florida, is one big water snake! However, those of you with a more active imagination, may want to call it a Brontosaurus, or maybe it's something like The Loch Ness Monster. Whatever you would like to call it, I think you will agree that it will make a dandy wallpaper for your desktop. Free of charge of course, please enjoy this gift! Later...J B |
